Westerly Typhoon 37, Bareboat Yacht Charter, West Coast, Firth of Clyde, Scotland, Largs, UK

“An elegant, seaworthy performance cruiser delivering comfort, style and pace””

"Thought by some to be the peak of Westerly Yachts' achievement, the Typhoon is a powerful and eye-catching cruising yacht that will stand up to the weather well and will make to windward like the proverbial..."

Well appointed below, with a good sized forward double cabin, comfortable saloon and very generously-sized double cabin aft. Though some Typhoons have been charter coded for 8, Amarilys is coded for 6 people and as suggested below, even better with 4; use either the port and starboard saloon settees, or convert the port dinette settee to a double, for another two comfortable berths. Hot water from shorepower or engine. Heated heads/shower, with separate large hanging locker for wet weather gear. With her large well laid out galley, generous stowage areas, central heating throughout and new upholstery for 2012, she's ideal for comfortable cruising. Her powerful fully-battened main stows easily in lazy-jacks and Selden roller reefing takes care of a generously-sized genoa. All lines other than for the mainsail luff reefing run back to her large and well set-up cockpit. The anchor is easily handled with an electric windlass. Right at the wheel you'll find a generously sized chart plotter, plus autopilot controls, steering compass and wind instrument displays. There are further wind/depth/speed displays above the main hatch, with repeaters below. At the chart table you'll also find the main VHF, the radar screen, an additional stand-alone GPS, Radio/CD player, and an invertor for charging phones etc underway.
